Welcome to Raychel's Studio
Hi, I’m Raychel. I’m a Colorado-based artist with a Fine Arts background, and I’ve always felt most myself when I’m creating. I work in pyrography, stained glass, fused glass, painting, and mixed media—basically anything that lets me explore new ideas and turn them into something meaningful, beautiful, and a little magical.
I’ve been making art for as long as I can remember. If I wasn’t painting or drawing, I was building cardboard dollhouses or sewing my own clothes. I’ve always had a busy imagination that never wanted to sit still. Creating isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s how I process life, how I slow down, and how I make sense of the world.
When I go too long without making, it feels like I’m missing a piece of myself.
My style changes with my mood, and that freedom is one of my favorite parts of being an artist. Some days my work feels soft, dreamy, and romantic; other days it leans western, rustic, or dark and moody. I don’t force my work into a single aesthetic—I let each piece find its own direction. Wherever you land stylistically, there’s probably something here for you.
Over the years, I’ve been told more than once that I should pick one medium and stick to it. Maybe that works for some artists—but for me, exploring different materials and ideas is where the magic happens. I believe the art world is richer because of artists who follow curiosity instead of rules, and that freedom is what keeps my work feeling alive.
Everything I create is made with care, a little rebellion, and a lot of joy. This is only the beginning, and I have so many more strange, lovely, beautiful things waiting to be made.
