Welcome to Raychel's Studio

Hi, I’m Raychel—a Colorado-based artist with a degree in Fine Arts from BYU–Idaho and a lifelong love of making things with my hands. I work in stained glass, woodburning, painting, skull art, and just about anything else I can dream up. If it involves creating—I’m in.

I’ve been making art since I was old enough to hold scissors and steal tape. Whether it was cardboard doll house or sewing my own clothes, I’ve always had the kind of imagination that refused to sit still. Creating isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s something I need. It’s how I breathe, how I make sense of the world. When I go too long without making, it feels like I’m missing a piece of myself.

My aesthetic shifts with my mood, and I love that about my work. Some days it’s soft, dreamy coquette and cottagecore; other days it leans full western grit or dark, gothic edge. I don’t box myself in—I let the piece tell me where it wants to go. Whatever your style, there’s probably a version of it somewhere in my world.

I was once told I should pick just one medium and make it my specialty—that I needed to narrow my focus to fit inside a certain art spectrum. Maybe there’s some truth to that. But I believe the art world is far more interesting thanks to the artists who didn’t listen to that advice—who followed their instincts, broke the rules, and created whatever they felt called to make. I’d rather explore it all than limit myself. That freedom is what keeps my work alive.

Everything I create is made with care, a little rebellion, and a lot of joy. This is just the beginning—I have so many more strange, lovely, beautiful things to share with you.

Want to create something uniquely yours?

Every piece I make carries a little magic and is truly one of a kind. If you’d like to request a custom design, just fill out the form at the bottom of the page—I’d love to bring your vision to life.
